    Your first deer rifle?

    My first deer rifle was a 30-30 Marlin 336C, 2.5 power scope, mounts, and a box of shell. Paid $112. The group I hunted with said scopes were no good and would never last. Shot 19 bucks and one doe with that setup.

    Thanks for all the info. Once I get my fingers wrapped around my new 280ai and get an idea which bullet it likes I will order reloading supplies. Already order from MidwayUSA. Will checkout the other sources as well.

    My custom 280ai should be done in November. I have 2 boxes 155 TSs,1 box of Nolser 140 BTs, 1 box of 160ABs, and 50 Nosler brass. Looking forward to see what my 280ai likes. What's your favorite brand of reloading dies?
