    The gunsmith said it's a tight Saami chamber. Only shot 6 140 BT to sight in. Very cold and windy in Southwest Wisconsin now. When weather breaks will shoot some groups.

    Was going to check my baits one day. The was a guy patching the holes with blacktop. Told him what I was up to. He told a couple of places to bait. Just have to be in the right place at the right time and talk to the right person(s).

    Got my hands on 280ai Friday, see attached. Got sighted in yesterday. Today high is 15 degrees.

    I quit smoking then quit drinking. Feel tons better. If can't quit drinking for yourself, do it for your family.

    What are deer eating and where are they sleeping...

    I live about 30 minutes from the Kickapoo River. Shot 11pt on Wednesday. Was on the West end of east/west ridge. Between bedding area and food. Try hunting midday in oak patches near bedding area. Afternoon hunters going to stand might chase deer your direction.

    I put a new Leopold 3x9 on my 270 Savage 26 years ago. Sighted it in then. Never touched the settings since. Still deer hunting with it. Still shooting deer in the neck.

    Your first deer rifle?

    I had a Daisy BB gun as well. Replaced the spring with a spring from a Parker ball point pen. Could shoot farther than the other kids in town.
