    I use a Kodiak canvas truck tent when out for a few days, I can pick up camp and move areas with ease, plenty of room in it for my kid and I can do 30 mph with it in and not even notice it. If I’m solo for a night or two I just lay the drivers seat back and sleep there.

    I am really liking my Kuiu Attack pants, I've got about 20 days in them so far this year and they are holding up well and are really comfortable, when it's warm the side zips on the legs feel great to dump heat and let in the breezed. No experience with the other ones you mentioned.

    Pants for a Tall Skinny Guy

    Kuiu attacks come in tall sizes, they say it's a 37" inseam, I wear 36x34 and their regular inseam is perfect. They aren't warm or have knee pads but I would check their other pants to see what they offer.

    I haven't used a sling in years, I only use a kifaru gun bearer, I absolutely love it and when you need your rifle quick it's like it just jumps into your hands.

    Charged by a moo cow

    I got chased up an old snag by a cow when I was 17, somehow I got between her and her calf and she was pissed, it took a few minutes of her mooing before she left and I could jump down and haul butt out of there.
