If you are successful the big green head of jealousy comes out.
Amazing how many negative comments are about how he "seems " to be .
I'm mainly a whitetail guy and hunt mostly private land and I'll never apologize for it .
Oh , and I'm 5'7" and rock it !
I have a Kifaru 4 man I bought in 2000 . For two guys it rocks . Small stove keeps it warm and comfy if you get weathered in . It's a little heavy and bulky for one guy if you're going light and far . Hate to see they discontinued it .
Born and raised in northeast Oklahoma. I think there are less young deer being shot , with that said I don't hunt here . I spend all my time in Kansas.
Thinking of going to a tarp to save weight.
For you guys running tarps , what if anything are you using for a ground cloth ? I'm thinking of pitching in or just after a good rain when the ground is soaked . Thoughts ?
Thanks,
Chris
I have a 2.5 x 8 Leupold VX III on mine . I like consistency and have several of those scopes on different rifles. One could argue 8x magnification is not needed on a slug gun but it's nice on the range and those guns with 3" Remington Accutips can really stretch out for a slug gun .
