20" 1:8 barrel. 2 mags. Leupold 20moa base. Thread protector, manual, box.
This is coming with the slant grip not the vert grip as it is on my other rifle.
No scope, rings, or brake.
Round count is around 700. Very good shape with some wear on the bolt shroud. Hmu for more pictures via email...

I shot a cow with them in their 7mm RM factory ammo (which is very slow). Bullet performed well.

pick an appropriate bullet (appropriate performance, appropriate for your twist rate)
use an appropriate powder
use good brass
use good dies
shoot some groups with some different powder weights
Something should work. If it doesn't work you're doing something wrong or you should change bullets.
I've used Hornady, RCBS, and Forster standard FL dies and Hornady "match grade" Bushing FL die. I use them all with the expander ball. As you alluded to, I am not interested in introducing another step in my process with an expander mandrel.
I like the floating expander stem on the Forster...
I shot my 7mm today. Tikka. 5 shots at 100 over the chronograph. First four measured ~1/2". Last shot (left) opened it up to 1". It could've been me or not. It is hard for me to shoot this magnum as well as my smaller cartridges.
Velocity:
2740
2713
2725
2724
2715
Very consistent velocity...
