There's "ki-yoat" people and there are "ki-yo-tee" people. As mentioned, it's regional. I work for a lot of people who are not from MT and there are "ki-yoat" people and "ki-yo-tee" people.
As far as the movie....its based on a saloon in new york city and a product of hollywood...."ki-yo-tee"...
Very tempting. Damn. This would be turn-key for a pile of 7mm bullets and proper powders i have sitting around....thanks for the info. I literally just torqued on one new to me barrel yesterday but plan on picking up some more.
I am not familiar with the NXT, but I would say fluke based on my experience with my x therm pad. Granted it's just one, but it is one that has been used for 7 or 8 years. I probably have 150 or more sleeps on it. I am careful with it, and I did have to re-glue the valve this past year - it has...
Put a Scythe on the thing and have excitement on both ends!!
Seriously tho, I'm curious about the compatibility with current suppressors or if this could lead to another segment of that market? (FWIW, I'll be surprised if it takes off)
When I was 12, almost every other kid I knew that was hunting for the first time (my entire class almost) was carrying an ill-fitting, larger-than-.243, loaner or hand-me-down. It's pretty funny, in hindsight, we all made fun of the kid who's dad set him up with an old .223.
It sucked!! But we...
This comes back to the "what makes a magnum" question.
By this logic, a long barreled hot (RL26!!) 6.5cm that out-paces a shorter 6.5PRC with the same bullet is a "magnum"....but not truly a magnum. Or a juiced up .284 win that can hang with the 7RM?? Same bullet, so what's the difference?
I...
Agreed. Another thing i have seen/heard/done a lot lately with suppressor use so common, is putting together a short barreled "magnum" to achieve performance similar to a standard/traditional length non-magnum. So your "what makes a magnum" question is a good one!
Rhetorical question: Does a...
I've asked this is previous threads: how does one quantify this "margin of error"? Asked another way: how badly can you miss and still get sufficient results? Is it relative to the bullet diameter (caliber)? Or the bullet weight? Or the charge weight of the cartridge? Or do guys just know that...
