    I think @Ryan Avery said in the shot show recap episode that the ballistics were still kinda slow like the vortex fury but very good glass. The revic is still faster with ballistic solution but not as high quality glass.

    I just built a 6cm off my tikka 6.5 cm. Mainly for reducing recoil for better hit % for field shooting. The other thing about barrel life that isn’t really stated is if you can shoot 3k rounds or 1k round for that matter a $700 rebarrel really shouldn’t be an issue.

    I am going from 6.5 cm to 6 cm. Terminally they will preform the same with eldm bullet. I am moving down for less recoil and more likely spotting shots.

    I hunt similar to you. Rokstok on order, stock trigger no need to upgrade, stock bolt knob no need to upgrade. Get a quality scope and UM Tikka rings or sportsmatch T084 rings.

    https://kestrelballistics.com/shot-timer I have used the PAC Club Timer in the past but now I have the kestrel definitely not the cheapest option but this one has the ability to change the setting for dry fire and adjust the beep to use indoors. Waterproof and dust proof as well as drop tested.
