From what I can find by doing a search it looks like it weighs just over a pound and a half, I can weigh it when I get home from work this afternoon.
Edited: Spotter is SPF.
I've had this spotter for years and have used it mainly for glassing for moose with the occasional sheep hunt mixed in. I just recently upgraded to a Night Force TS80 so I no longer need this scope. It's in good shape and the lens appear to be free of scratches and everything functions as it...
I don't believe those bags will be big enough, just get a set of the bigger T.A.G. bags and if you can afford it, get 2 sets so you can swap them out while you're still in the field. Good luck on your hunt.
Prices continue to rise here but I’m not letting it stop me, my sheep and moose hunts are too important to me, especially the sheep hunt.

I don't know what part of Alaska you'll be hunting in but in south central and parts of the interior we've been getting a lot of rain and it's been cool, typical August weather in Alaska. And last night they were saying that temps in the Brooks range will be in the 30's and to expect snow at...
I knew Tucker liked to fish but had no idea that he hunted as well, heard it this morning on the Glenn Beck program and now here, I knew there was something about him that I liked other than his take on todays politicians.
If you're hunting an antler restricted area I'd take it, sometimes bino's are just not enough to allow you to get a better look at those brow tines. If the area you are hunting is flat it won't do you much good looking over the landscape but it could help you focus in on bulls that are way out...
I'm not a Toyota guy but my wife loves them, she's owned 2 4 Runners, a Lexus RX330 and now owns a 2019 Tacoma Limited, which she absolutely loves. I drive it on occasion and it's a comfortable truck but it's gutless and I would not want to haul my 22 ft enclosed trailer with it. NADA BB right...
I've been using a Gene Ingram #1 semi for well over a decade and it is my go to knife, I can butcher (not skin and butcher) an entire moose with it, money well spent IMO. I also just picked up a Havalon Piranta-Edge knife for skinning and caping, hoping to use it on a Dall ram and possibly a...
I haven't eaten a MH in years but will be eating some here in a couple weeks, I really like their Granola and blueberries w/milk and I hate granola. lol
Dang, I didn't see this when I bought my Phone Skope gear but that's ok, you all took great care of me when I received my order and discovered that it was partially melted. Got a new one the following week so thanks for the excellent customer service!!
Btdt too many times and it never gets any easier, I've got a 10 yo husky and an 8 yo husky/lab mix and I'm enjoying my days with them, when it's their time I will feel that awful pain all over again but they are well worth it.

Yup, he has weak paddles but the points are longer than any I've seen on a bull moose, crappy crab claw brow tines too but that's pretty typical of the bulls in this area. He taped out at exactly 60" and is the 2nd 60" bull I've taken in that unit but he wasn't near as good as this one.
I shot this bull back in 2016, spotted him the night before and couldn't believe the length and amount of points on him. After I put him down the next day I started to get a little nervous on the width but luckily I had a tape with me to measure, thankfully it turned out that I was pretty close...
I've never worn a puffy jacket while hunting in the fall, I generally layer up and shed or add as it goes. Sitka 90% jacket, mountain shirt and a merino t-shirt under it, mountain pants and a pair of Lowa Sheep Hunter boots with merino wool socks and I'm good to go.
Since it's a guided hunt I would leave the handgun behind, your guide is there for more than just finding you a bull moose, he's also there for your safety.
