Kimber Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor with Talley lightweight rings and a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40mm CDS scope with the windplex reticle. I built this gun to be ultra lightweight and it is that. I have put exactly 40 rounds through this rifle and I’m not a fan of the eye relief on the Leupold scope...
I used this little pack for about 7 days of walking around town so it is almost new. Asking $235 Which includes shipping to lower 48.. thanks for looking
I’m pretty set on the CDS or at least a yardage dial.. I have never really taken the time to figure out the MIL/MOA systems.. I want something that is simple but effective.. I do understand the temp and altitude swings, but I generally hunt the same area same time and always figured that I would...
I’ve been a vortex user for quite a while.. I recently put a Leupold on my 6.5 CM and I love it.. I’m thinking of putting the VX-6HD 4-24 on my 7mm.. anyone have first hand experience with that scope? The only thing I don’t like about leupold is the eye relief (not quite as forgiving as vortex...
That is awesome Vern.. I'm going to make it back up that way again soon.. We fish AK almost every year either in Homer, Seward or Ketch. I was just at some training with a guy who spent some years at Greely. He now lives in Anchorage and will retire from the Military in the next 4 years or so...
Check out the Lamar Valley.. it's runs parallel to the north edge of the park so it's a bit of a drive, but it's awesome, and it's full of wildlife.. I went last weekend (it's only an hour from my house). From the North Entrance to Cook City, we saw sheep, elk, bison, moose, and a coyote. No...
Awesome Vern... I always compare Fred Bear and what he used to what we have now... those guys were definitely tough.. I want to start with Sheep and Sheep Hunting but man they're expensive on Amazon.. I haven't ever seen hunting the rockies by him, so I'll check that out as well.. I was too...
I've been wanting to get into the digiscoping game for a few years. I have a Vortex Viper 15-45x65 and an iPhone 6.. I also have a go pro.. I would assume the iPhone beats the GoPro for quality.. I'm looking at picking up the phone skope setup.. I'm looking for advice, do's/dont's, to avoid...
As the title says, I have a pair of attack pants in Size 36 Vias camo for sale. I've owned them for about 2 years but have only worn them for about 10 days in the field. There are no rips or tears in them and no stains that I could find. I like them well enough but they are too big for me...
I guess I'll start with the Kanab's.. I've heard awesome stuff about them. It seems like if they made the corrugate guide pant a little thicker I'd have a winner!
I've had mine for a couple of years now and never heard that squeak until this last week. it drove me nuts. I'm following to find out what the fix is. I did read somewhere a while ago that putting baby powder down the frame was supposed to help.. my squeak sounds like it's coming from the...
I prefer the Tetons to the attacks. The attacks feel too thin and less durable than the tetons even though both have held up well and I haven't had issues with either, the tetons feel better.
