BaseMap App Review for 2020, By Jim Carr

I started with both of them several years ago and just kind of gravitated to ONx due to its early intuitiveness, I really want some Hi-Res though. Might have to run both and just force myself to get better with basemap.

How big are you? How wide is, or was, your quilt?

6’3 235 running an EE regular long quilt. Too narrow for me, need a wide in a bad way. Don’t like mummy bags so want to stay with a wide quilt. Nemo wide sleep pad is nice though.

When I looked at (SG, FL, Kuiu) compared to other standard tents I think the main difference is the they seem to be a touch lighter. The only tent that has a true analog is the FL/Nemo since they are the exact same. I'd agree that I'm not interested in paying $150 more for one less pack weight...

Center post can be tricky to navigate at night especially with bulky gear on, knocking into that sucker sucks. Set up is never as good as you think you can get it, lots of micro adjusting needed to maximize the space of the inner tent. Weight and space ratio is good so that is a positive...

I ran a teepee last season with 1.5 inner and I'm ready to be done with it. Looking currently at more traditional tents. 3 seem to fit my bill and all have similar pricing, within $100 of each other, but I'm interested in any feedback experienced users might have. So here goes the question...

Likely Overcrowded OTC Due to Changes in Southern CO

For what its worth, GMU 44 (44,45,47, 444) transitioned to OTC bull only which did prevent me from hunting there last season. Since I had an OTC either sex tag (which by law wasn't a legal tag for a bull only unit) I stayed out of those areas which I would have checked or scouted. My guess is...

Thanks for the reply, its funny how you can read the regs up and down and miss, or not figure out the letter of the law. This will be our 3rd year hunting CO but are changing our draw strategy up a little bit.

Just trying to clarify, if I pull a list A license for elk muzzle loader can I also have a list A license for muzzleloader deer? I understand not having two list A tags for one species but was unclear about other species. Thanks for any help, just trying to figure out a group strategy.
