Congrats on the effort. I really like Topo Chico. Depending on how I’m feeling I will also do decaf instant coffee or non caf tea with honey. Or just slam some water and wake up and seize the day instead of having a headache.
When you take a step back there is no real argument that anything is better with alcohol. Sleep, budget, decision making, fitness all improve. Way to go.
I was born and raised in MS and still have family with land there. If I could avoid clearing anything near the road I would. My family in Jones and Tippah County frequently find deer shot off the road. I grew up hunting in Tippah and frequently found signs of trespassing. If you want to make a...
I’d have Brown Precision stock it in a pounder stock. Should finish at 21-22 oz or so and you can get whatever lop you want. Other than that you can lose some weight cutting the barrel down and getting a custom contoured slim brake. While you are at it you can have a Spartan Tripod adapter in...
Turret should be around $350. They will also change reticles but unsure of the cost. I have 2 of the 6x42s and have it on my short list to get a turret for the 6x42.

I took a Patagonia Nano puff and Mont Bell Alpine Light to Alaska for a bear hunt in the Alaska range and felt like it was the perfect combo. Low activity wet cold I wore the nano, slept in the nano. Long glassing sessions I put on the Mont Bell. I also have the Cerium and don’t think it would...
It seems counter intuitive but insulated boots make you colder on active hunts. Did Colorado last year and 8 nights in Alaska in August in Crispi Lapponias. It got down to -9 in CO. Fresh socks and a z rest under the feet makes all the difference.
I think there is a place for pack boots but...
Tough spot and I’ve been through the cycle many times and always struggle when I don’t have something to work toward. I also blame suburban life. As mentioned before, check in with God everyday, grind though the sobriety as substance doesn’t help, and find a new routine.
Don’t forget, God made...
Thanks for the recommendation. Wife and I sat down with a firm today and are working through a financial plan with a CFP. It’s not exactly cheap but seemed fair. I’m still on the fence whether or not I’ll do the % fee based asset management.
They 100% know what the drones are and where they were launched from. None of this is a secret, it’s just a secret to the public. Check out Dedrone tech. Axon just bought the tech.
