The thickness and impact at light conditions is something I had not heard before and a major factor. I just bought a swaro with the the ballistic turret system with the colors for crayon eaters like me. I am hoping it will be the right balance for my current knowledge and skill set.
Did it end up shooting better? Did you fall in love? Asking as I just bought one and am anxious to get it on the range. Been reading a lot about how finicky they can be for shooting method and ammo.
On the bedding job, any idea what year the rifle was made? Curious if there was a run of Montana...

Need to be super super careful if the Mr Buddy goes out. Without knowing how long it was out, I make sure to air out the tent before relighting. have heard of a friend who had one explode with his son while ice fishing that way.
