In the market for a Ti or Aluminum Pot to boil & drink coffee from

I have a titanium pot but carry an additional insulated mug for drinking coffee. The titanium is great at a lot of things but insulting your hot coffee is not one of them. If I set my coffee down for a couple minutes to glass something then the drink gets cold. It’s worth it to me having the...

    diy breakfast recipes? oatmeal based

I basically make overnight oats with old fashioned oats, powdered milk, chia seeds, dried blueberries. Add my water and mix before going to sleep so I can eat as soon as I wake up and start hunting sooner….I only do this when going without a stove, it’s not my go to if I pack my stove.

Bow hunting during muzzleloader season in Colorado.

What an embarrassment. You are right....looking back on it the one guy had his muzzle loader on sticks, or tripod or something pointed in our direction and the other looking through binos maybe. It's a vague memory from long ago.

Bow hunting during muzzleloader season in Colorado.

I would at least wear a orange hat....me and a buddy called in a pair of ML hunters and when I finally caught a glimpse of them in my binos they were scanning the woods with their scopes....certainly with loaded and capped guns. They had been pointed at us numerous times during the whole...

I have a buddy with one. I wouldn’t think twice about hunting with it bare. Just my opinion though.

Anyone use their bugle tube to amplify cow calls?

Also to “throw” the sound behind me. (Bull and cow sounds). Not sure if this works scientifically, but in my mind I’m definitely tricking them.

    Arrow Drop at High Elevation

You definitely need to shoot at your max effective range at elevation in order to make this determination prior to hunting. If you have practiced and set up your bow at max poundage and you are hitting high at your max effective range then a simple solution is to slowly turn your poundage down...

Talk me out of a fast eddie double pin

I’ve never wished I had a third. My pins fall at 20 and 35. With that I’m good out to 40. If I my setup in any given situation lends itself to a longer shot, then I’ll dial down to 25 and 40. I’m comfortable shooting that to 45. *this is only for elk. I want to be more accurate on deer past 35.
