Always good practice to check components… stock to action, scope base, scope caps, bi pod, etc… sure. Proper or not things happen. Even more so on a magnum.
Oil on a screw isnt the same as anti seize on a barrel nut. Different properties. Scope ring caps dry here. Simply check every few firings for torque and good ta go. I dont trust loc tiite period. No matter how well ive cleaned all parts with nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol ive had failures.
NF MOAR i prefer 2nd focal plane. I only range targets at max any ways have first as well. Both have there place rifle wise…Mil, moa same stuff… i think in inches when seeing objects, quicker for i.
