I have had the SKRE Guardian parka and bibs with the 850 fill for a couple of years now. They are a lifesaver for long sits in very cold weather. I can't hike / walk in them; I'll burn up. They fit well, zippers are good, pockets are good, bibs zip plenty far to step into with heavy boots, etc...
MacIntosh has some sound advice. I've hunted Catskill-like public land in southern NY for 20+ years now and I agree with him on all his points. If you're bowhunting, it's gonna be tough on the ground. If you're rifle hunting, you can get the reach you need. Thermals can help, as they're more...
I have the same pair. I bought them 14 years ago for $2500 or so. I hunt hard with them every year, in all weather. They still function like new. I've had Leupold, Bushnell, and other lower-priced brands. The Leicas far, far outperform any binos I've had before.
Just printed out the return label for my second return of attack pants. I'm a 34 x 34 normally. Ordered size 34 attacks - way too small. Returned them for 36s. Very snug - too snug. I'd have to go with 38s to get a comfortable fit, I guess. Which is weird, since I wear 34s in everything else.
