As an ironworker I'm always climbing on buildings and have hit my funny bone soooo many times and never passed out but now they are super sensitive. The slightest bump can bring me to my knees and my hand will be useless for 30-45 min.
So, I'm going to be working near Guernsey WY for the next 6 weeks. And thought I might try some coyote hunting to try and keep myself entertained. Just wondering if anybody had any tips, techniques, local buyers or relevant information for a non-resident in this area.

My wife and I got it at the same time. She lost her sense of taste and smell right away. We both got the monoclonal antibodies and before she left the office she had her taste and smell back. The next day I lost my smell....
If it was my biggest deer ever I'd keep looking. I would think buzzards would indicate a dead animal. I'd also get a dog, any dog should naturally be interested in a dead deer that you might be overlooking.

Killing whitetails isn't hard. Young deer are dumb and taste great. But if you're looking for mature bucks there are basically 2 ways.
1. Hunt everyday of the rut you can. Get in early and sit all day. Repeat until you're successful. The rut is when mature deer make mistakes all you have to do...
I live in Eastern Nebraska and would not suggest going west for rifle. Although we don't have the sheer number of rifle hunters as WI, we do have cheap otc tags and less than 1% public lands.
I think EHD is a bigger contributing factor than CWD for our low numbers. But the real problem is G&P...
