I'm wanting to sell this Tikka 223 Varmint. I don't shoot it as much as I had planned to and it's a little heavier than I would like to carry around for hunting. I'm the second owner of the rifle. Previous owner claimed to have fired around 400 rounds and I would guess I've fired another 100...
I’m far from an expert, but there are solutions out there to eliminate the clickers. I’ve seen several reamers you can use at home to slightly modify the chamber if you buy a rifle and have that problem.
That is a rare bird and I think a good choice to get it mounted. I think gobbling poses do a good job of showing beards and I would make sure whatever pose you choose shows all 4 beards.
It’s never fully made sense to me, but individual guns and chokes vary so much I think you just have to test for yourself until you find something you are satisfied with. If the pattern is dense enough to kill a turkey I wouldn’t chase finding the perfect combo.
I’ve been carrying my 10x42 all week while turkey hunting. They probably don’t increase my success rate, but I enjoy being able to see things up close. If I had a nice 8 power pair I would carry them instead.
I would bet you’re ok with that, but it’s imposssible to say for sure. My wife use to have a metal credit card multi tool she carried in her purse that included a letter opener. We took several flights before some agent noticed it and confiscated.
