    It’s a 25’ Rock Harbor with a Volvo penta KAD 43 Diesel. I’ve got about 3000 hours on it. Boat is a tank, best following sea hull you can buy. It’s not a rocket ship like the big outboard boats, I cruise at 24kts max, but when it’s shitty, and it usually is, I go right past everyone.

    You don’t wade up to your armpits. Rarely up to your waist. I’d say if you want them higher get a med tall, not short. I’m 6-0 200 lbs and large fits me perfectly. Maybe the med is shorter. Agree on the baggy aspect, they will shrink around you in the water, but loose makes walking much easier.

    How would you compare the Pioneer 1000 to the Defender. I currently have a P1k 5 seat, and am considering moving to the defender for a bigger cab and bed. I don’t like noise though, and the Pioneer is fairly quiet, plus it will go ANYWHER.
