I have a metcalf and it’s great for me up to 60lb then it sucks. Typical day mode is awesome with 35lb. I’m going to a Kifaru or SG suspension setup.

Gamers run .003 max. Usually .002 on average. Every doz I have a few .000 and a few .003 then most right around .002. So for me that’s not enough to buy elites.

Load lifters don’t take much to work and shouldn’t be cranked down. Pack should be adjusted, waist/shoulder/chest/load lifters. Then during a hike it’s a small tweak between lifters and shoulders to transfer weight back and forth.
I find for me, I need to get the belt up and locked in my hip...
Is that pic fully loaded? *Heres an amateur take*. My guess is your bag is sagging and pulling your yoke down and straps bit your arm. Try extending the yoke up more. For me body the yoke “y” ended up about 1” from the base of my neck under load to get the right about of clearance at my arms...
I’ve found that I can tune most heads to my bow if I take the time. I’ve tuned rage, kill zones, montec, and cut throats. For me it’s more about sharping and durability. Landed on cut throats for now.

Hello - I was wondering if anyone can banter the downsides of the 5900 for a 5ish day archery hunt. I use a metcalf now and looking at the merits of a front load. Thanks!

In all honesty you should really try them if you can or purchase them all and return the ones that don’t work. I’ve been through it and metcalf fits the best for me. Fit overrides all when you’re 5 miles form the truck.
