    I hike in all over the place. I've packed elk in soft sole moccasins. They did it back then, it can be done today. It all depends on your mental toughness. Lava rock areas are torturess no matter what footwear you have. Don't miss hunting new mexico lol.

    My buddy that made my war shirt is now almost finished making my matching pair of pants! hes 5'7 so they look really long on him. I run 6'4 waist area the butt area seam is stitched with the lazy squat stitch. very strong.

    Tried it out over the weekend and results were so so considering I was blowing patches to shreds. 6 o.clock hold on the first 5 and then 5 more at 12 o clock after switching to oil lubed patches from track of the wolf.

    What ever you learned with a center fire, throw out the window because muzzleloading is a whole new ball game. 180gr in a 300 may seem huge, but in a muzzleloader, it's tiny. Even a 250gr bullet in a 1/2" hole isn't huge.
