    Broadheads not on target

Maybe somebody has a moose and griz tag and doesn’t just sit in their deer blind to catch tiny whitetail. Maybe that’s why those arrows are heavy and have FOC.

100 gr point 180 grain ethics SS insert/outsert 4 vanes 6.8 each 6 gr wrap 8 gr nock 29” carbon to carbon plus a bit of glue When I originally bought these I planned on shooting Victory’s 100 gr insert/outsert setup which would’ve put me right on the cusp of 300/250. But those were impossible...

Can you provide literature why a weak spined arrow tears the way it does?

    Broadheads not on target

Can anyone provide a link that explains the left/right tears for under spined/over spinded arrows. I cannot find any literature on it and besides that’s just what everyone says….

    Broadheads not on target

Definitely not. But I want it all dialed now. I get wicked adrenaline dumps when those bulls are coming at me, and I need no other factors to help me miss

    Broadheads not on target

The tear in my picture tells me to move my rest left, but the link Keith posted said to move rest right. It seems contradicting. My spine is definitely borderline, but if I beef up my spine I’m going to have to increase arrow weight and additional 25gr (minimum) just to keep FOC at a...

    Broadheads not on target

I suspect rest, as I’ve built my own arrows I know it’s not an arrow/broadheas/fletching issue. I’m not perfect, but those arrows might be.

My field tips to 65 are 0-3” groups. By broad heads are fixed 4 blade viper tricks and groups are 0-4” at 65 yards. Problem is that field tip group is on/around bullseye and broad heads are 4” high and 10” right of bullseye. Hamskea limb driven rest. Fix me

    Sight pin alignment

Thanks for looking into it. That’s the first I heard of that specific color changing sight. I definitely don’t hate money enough to put it on that. However, I hate my red pin so much that I’m definitely going to get rid of it, change it to blue, and reorganize my colors to benefit low...

    Sight pin alignment

I’m definitely going to 10. Thanks for putting that on my radar. Is there any specific reason the amber and green, or do you just like those colors? From the picture you can see I have a five pin sight. Do you have any experience with the blue and/or clear?

    Sight pin alignment

It definitely would’ve been funny to some, but I think the overall sarcasm would’ve been lost. It was just a good reminder that regardless of how well you shoot, when you have a problem go right back to the basics. Elk don’t care about your ego

    Sight pin alignment

First off, thanks to everyone for their suggestions and help. Secondly, I hate you all. Turns out I was torquing my shots at certain distances. However, it was great for me to get my ego deflated and realize I was the problem instead of some strange tuning issue. Third, thanks for the...

    Sight pin alignment

Hahaha I hope it’s just that easy. If it is I’m certainly going to will all my arrows to fly right to the aorta. It is a great suggestion. Before I move pins I’m going to follow up with 5 Shot’s suggestion. I think that will tell me if what you’re saying is holding true. I’m off to shoot...

    Sight pin alignment

You’re right. I recently restrung my bow, got a new peep, new release, increased draw from 63 to 69. A lot going on. When all of this happened I had to adjust my sight a bit and am still in the process of dialing in my pins for the new weight and peep. So my vertical spacing is very close...
