Stick with basemaps, anything gohunt or OnX can tell you is the same information you’ll get by perusing any state f&g site. Save your money

I think in this instance we will agree to disagree. If you canceled hotels would you not get a refund? I get the money spent renting booth space isn’t getting refunded. You haven’t bought the gas or the gas station pizza yet[emoji2373]

Just curious what money you have invested into the expo? Like is that the cost to rent booth space or is that your cost for travel to and from and accommodation for yourself and employees? I don’t need a full accounting I’m just trying to determine how much of that 5-10k you might have invested...
Maybe the small businesses who make a living off of public land users should also put their feet down and let the state of Utah know they are out of line on this one. I know it’s not reality but that convention hall should be empty this year if anyone in the hunting industry had a spine

Boise State played a good game with some horrible mistakes. They certainly didn’t look to me like they didn’t belong out there at least. I’ve almost come around on Maddux Madsen even. Looking forward to next season already

Amazon is not a stock you’re gonna double your money on overnight, but it’s not going anywhere and they seem to only be growing

I would’ve said the same about roe v wade and abortion rights up until the moment it happened[emoji2373] if Utahs suit makes it to the current version of the Supreme Court I would be a little worried about losing our public lands

Yea you’re right it’s not exactly countryside, so let’s sell that off now(nevermind the fact that every year there is plenty of recreation done both hunting and non hunting on that “barren ground” adjacent to western city “x”). How much of that barren ground do we need to sell before we are into...
This is old news, the current iteration is in the form of a lawsuit which they are trying to have taken up directly by the Supreme Court.

What if the feds sold off the public lands but with conservation and access easements in perpetuity, that’s the only way I could get on board with this plan

I had one rattle at me in South Dakota in November on a day when the low was well into the 20’s. Shocked me for sure

You’re right, all a team has to do is win a single game 13 times. All Boise State has left to do is win 3 single games

I shot a spike elk a few years back that had broken his pedicle off of his skull and his horn was flopping around on top of his head, but the skull was solid underneath, gotta wonder if this buck had a 2nd pedicle at some point that broke off[emoji2373]

I’m guessing they won’t be doing that because if Mike Lee gets his way there won’t be any public lands in any of the other states listed

I’m not a Utah resident but I know a little about Utah, they have very little state land and when it comes to private lands management they do have a system similar to our access yes but it is not that popular and they also allow big ranches to enroll in PLWMU which essentially turns their...
I’ve enjoyed the western hunting and conservation expo the last couple of years but I think I’ll be skipping it this February and I hope a bunch of other people will consider doing the same. We need to hit the state of Utah where it will feel it and a couple of million dollars in lost tourism...
I was looking for the thread on the state of Utah’s latest attempt to take our public lands but this one will do, anybody out there think maybe we all shouldn’t spend our money in salt lake this year and see if losing a few million in tourism dollars from the very people they’re trying to steal...
