Adding on to some of the thoughtful advice above - having worked in a hunting camp before here are a few quick ideas but I'd first say look at River's West - waterproof fleece camo clothing. The Ambush bibs are all we wore in October and November here in the high country of northern Wyoming...
Yep no doubt they like the easy life on AG fields and backyards. But as long as public borders those private zones and you can take their temp birds are always willing to make a move for love or war!
Similar to other posters who may hunt 2-3 hours in a day (and counting that as a hunting day) I'm at around 80-90 per year.

Hi all - headed out with a buddy from WY to unit 33 for the bear and turkey opener. We've had a good season for birds here so far with one unit opening April 1 and the rest slated for the 20th.
