Hunted Calder Mountain Lodge in 2021. Had a great experience and there's plenty of good fishing nearby. I booked with them again for our spring 2025 hunt.
A guy on Hunttalk has the NR Silver State Desert Bighorn tag. He's already talked to guides.
It comes down to what you want out of the tag. Giant deer? Hire a guide or be prepared to scout and hunt for weeks upon weeks.

Hunted for three days in south central Idaho. Saw 1,000+ elk, some deer, one cow moose, zero ticks, and zero bears.
Hunted low and high. All looked good. Going to need a new spring bear spot.
That story reminds me of when another love sick bullwinkle almost tripped over the guy line of my super tarp. I'm blind and for the 1.5 seconds it took to find my glasses I had NO IDEA what was going on.
