    Which vehicle?

Don't minimize American trucks. With proper maintenance and care I suspect any new or later year truck will serve you well. I bought my Dodge 1500 new in 2005. It has been perfect with only normal maintenance done. 170k miles and not slowing down. Will be buying Dodge again with only change...

    Limb driven rest set up

For those in the know..... top limb or bottom limb? Does it matter? If so why? I do not understand why one is better over the other. If it matters I'm shooting Elite Answer with Versa rest attached to top limb. Whole rig is new and was told set up in top limb configuration because that...

What gear are you saving or gaining weight this year?

I'm going from BA fly creek UL3 to the Sawtooth. Guessing that will add somewhere around a pound. However the benefits go through the roof. Size, space, being able to stand up to dress and most appealing feature not rubbing elbows with hunting partner. Matt

    First rattlesnake of the year

All rattlesnakes must die. I was bit in the boot years ago as I didn't see him and ended up stepping on it. My dog got bit couple years back in my yard. I have killed a couple in the yard as well. Scary letting the kids out to play. Every year multiple rattlesnakes are seen in the hood...

    Neuroma problem need help!!

Thanks for all the replies. I have heard about the solomans more than once. I have a pair of their trail shoes that fit great. Today I stopped by REI and tried on Zamberlan Vioz and the Lowa Renegades. The Zamberlan fit well and was told also that they do have a bigger toe box. The Lowas I...

    Release style

Thanks for all the replies. For those shooting the hook style release to you find it eazy for the release to fall off the loop unless constant pressure is on the loop? I have also heard that the Carter wrist strap is not as good as the Scott wrist strap. What do you guys find to be the...

    Release style

Buying a new release soon. Looking at Carter or Scott. I've only used the double caliper style releases in the past and I'm looking at the string hook style now. What are the advantages, if any, to the string hook type release? Only thing I would like to keep constant is the nylon strap...
