Most of the Mountain House meals that I've looked at are probably 700 to 900 mg sodium per serving. Most of these packs have 2 to 2 1/2 serving each, so the sodium levels are still pretty high. Calorie wise I think that Next Mile has them beat as well.
Quest Nutrition has a pretty good variety of protein bars etc. I like their bars. Pretty low on net carbs as well.

This is my first season on a Keto diet so I'll see how it ends up. Scouting trips have been good so far but a week long grind may take it's toll. The rice might be a good idea.
Good luck on the trip. Let us know how it works out.
Good luck with the rehab. I had mine done on Jan 31st. I'm just now barley able to draw with my bow turned down to 50lbs.
I've been using bands for a while trying to build strength and mobility back up.
At least 7/8" wide and fixed. It looks like they are legal. Oregon must have changed broadhead regulations at some point. It used to be the blade could not sweep back. I don't see that anywhere in regulations now.

This might be harsh but it is my opinion. None of this BS needed to happen.
From Representative Greg Walden
“Today is a win for justice, and an acknowledgment of our unique way of life in the high desert, rural West,” Walden said.
I guess poaching and trying to hide that by setting a range fire are
a " unique way of life in the high desert"!!!
Total BS
If in Ketosis your sodium requirements may be different than other diets. Dr. Stephen Phinney has some excellent information on sodium consumption and it's importance. It may not necessarily be the boogeyman we have been led to believe.
It's worth watching these videos, interesting stuff...
