    California D9 tag

https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx?DocumentID=83198&inline For starters read through that then look at all the areas mentioned in the “where to look for deer” section at the bottom. Look at those areas on google earth. Then get out and walk around. I’ve never hunted d9 or even looked at...

    Panting tikka stock

Yeah not a tikka stock, but recently sponge painted a mdt stock and then applied clear coat. So far it’s been solid, no signs with wear or scuffing, or tacky/slipping. Make sure you let it cure a week

In need of recommendations for rifles

Honestly I’d suggest keeping what you have, invest in a nicer scope if you want- not sure what you have now? And just go shooting. Out to 100-150 yards is nothing. You can upgrade your stock, trigger, scope, invest in bipod, tripod, good rings, good muzzle brake, and then upgrade gun later.

What’s your budget? How often do you want to shoot? Just hunting or plan on regularly shooting? Lightweight or not as concerned?

But if you buy a 5700, it’s like $450, it has link so you can pair it to a rangefinder like the Leica or sig. and has most of the options you want on it, then if you decide you want to upgrade to the 5700 elite- which is $750, it’s a $300 software upgrade. So you’re not...

    Gen 2 American stock replacements

I have a gen 1 that I just put an MDT field stock on. The website says it, but I called to verify before buying that it is interchangeable with the gen 2. That applied to the XRS chassis as well.
