    One good trick is if there’s rocks around stack a pile under and around your stove. When your fire goes out those rocks will radiate heat for a long while and keep it a little nicer in there

    Best way to do it is invite a friend along and tell him he won’t need a bag rated lower than 50. He will be so cold he’ll keep the wood stove stoked all night.

    I haven’t tried tried the SFL but my SF focus and feel were part of the reason I chose them over swaro. They’re so comfy and when you use them for countless hours each year ergonomics should play a factor.

    Chapstick Toilet paper I’ve ran out of both… and my buddy is still short a pair of socks Oh and fire cubes. They’ve been priceless on wet hunts and snowy cold hunts. Always have a lighter and fire cube in my bino harness. Could save my life someday

    Within your overall budget, Set up an allowance for you and your wife. Each its own account only you have access to and allot a certain amount each pay period. It’s a good way to not point fingers at each other over things you buy for yourself.
