SLAP Labrel tear, how'd it go?

Yes and no. They often settle into relative place as the inflammation resolves. There are a few different types of SLAP (which stands for superior labral anterior-posterior) tears but the reason they dont heal is the biceps tendon tugs on them. Hence why cutting the proximal(upper) biceps...

SLAP Labrel tear, how'd it go?

Depends on how much pain you have. I am an orthopedic surgeon and personally have a slap tear that I chose not to get fixed because it bothers me with less than 5% of activities. Lifting weights, shooting a bow, etc are no problem, just cant throw a baseball or softball hard. Took about 3 months...

    Swaro bino help

Optically, no. I dont think there is much difference. Ergonomics and field of view absolutely. It is hard to appreciate without looking through both side by side. The EL is a great bino and I imagine you will be really happy either way over your nikons.

    Swaro bino help

I have 8x32 and 10x42 NL. I would go with the 10x42. While I love the 8x32 for whitetail treestand hunting and timber elk, they don’t have the same “wow” factor longer distance glassing that the 10x42 have. Dont look through the NLs and the ELs side by side unless you are prepared to spend the...

Help me scope my mountain rifle

I did. He asked either one of the three scopes he had or fit the criteria: Lightweight, 25oz max 30 mil tube Durability/Reliability/Predictability Track/RTZ and retain zero Usable reticle. Not busy. Wind holds on horizontal. SFP/MOA prefer non illuminated (center illum only ok) will dial, but...

Nightforce NXS 2-10. 20oz, fits all your criteria. Magnification for hunting scenarios is way overrated for all practical purposes.

AK Mountain Goat - Location Help

I hunted last year on Baranof Island/ Sitka with Jim Phillips Anahootz Alaskan Adventures. Guide was fantastic and goat numbers are really high on the island. Lots of goats but you better be in shape as the terrain is rugged. Beautiful country.

    Thumb release?

Stan Perfex heavy metal is my favorite of the several I have tried. Lots of good options out their depending on your hand size and the way you anchor. I personally like being able to rotate the thumb trigger 45 degrees.

Which Bino Harness - SG or Marsupial?

I have had both. I liked the bino pouch especially for my smaller binos on the SG but as was said earlier the straps on the SG was a deal breaker for me and I got rid of it. Very uncomfortable. I just wish the marsupial gear was a bit smaller for my 8x32s. Fits the 10x42 great.
