In order to have a management plan, a population goal must be set.
There will never be a population goal for Colorado wolves, due to the politics of an endangered species.
About Estes park..
Not only will the elk still be in town, but once the wolves start chasing them around in the park, the elk will learn to stay in town all year.
Elk in other areas have absolutely learned that they don’t have to migrate.
Example- Rabbit mountain

It’s not a reintroduction, it’s an introduction.
People from California and Chicago brought their politics and made this happen.
The leaders of the introduction, are anti hunting, anti gun leftists.
There will never be a management program or season on wolves in Colorado, due to politics...
We’ve always called it currant berrys.
Gald to know the actual name after 25 years lol.
They’re quite delicious, when ripe.
My buddy made muffins with them once, actually phenomenal.
But, I’ve never seen deer or elk feeding on the plant, even in areas where it’s super abundant.
My favorite daypack of all time!
I’ve packed up to 40 pounds of shed antler as well as essentials/water on my Avail.
Probably 1000 miles of rough use and the thing doesn’t even have a broken stitch, and I bought it used.
Fantastic, simple yet tough pack, that just works.
GLWS
My daypack is my frame.
I don’t use a big bag, just a Cuban fiber stuff sack to get all my gear to camp.
A 1500cc access panel on my UL frame is all that’s needed for the daily.
It is light and slender as well as comfortable and ready to go at a moments notice and carries all my essentials and...
Dropping the correct pack, makes zero sense.
Stone Glacier Evo frame and the Access Bag weigh <3 pounds…yet carries all essentials ultra comfortably, and still yet-will haul 250 pounds easily.
You’re not saving anything, if you practice how you hunt.
That’s just my opinion.
For what it’s worth, I put 10 ply Ko2’s on my 2104 trd taco and while they’re ok off trail in snow, they definitely don’t grab as well as other tires like cooper, on hardpack snow roads.
