I pulled the trigger and bought the KUIU Pro6000 tonight. I agree it is probably more bag then I need but figured I would be happier with too much space rather than not enough. Hope I like it for what it costs!
Looking at buying my first real pack and I am about to pull the trigger on the KUIU Pro6000, is it worth it? I'm willing to spend the money and do it once and not buy a new pack every couple of years. Anything you all recommend instead?
I put in as a second choice for a Wyoming General D tag and I currently have 2 points. What would you think my odds are? I got to get away this year so not worried about killing anything just the experience. Also I don't know crap about what I'm doing so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
just get a small inverter and run it when the truck is on. A freezer does not draw much anymore and you'll be surprised how little it will actually run if you have frozen jugs in there.
Going on a second season mule deer hunt in the Troublesome Creek area in Colorado this year. Looking for any pointers on what to pack or hunt strategies. Not looking for your hunt area as I would not share a honey hole either but just some guidance from seasoned veterans of this area. Keep in...
Crap, like I said morons from Missouri. A little bummed it's not Mule Deer but we're going to make the best of it. Anyone have any experience in this area? I'm sure whitetails will be very similar to here in Missouri hiding in river bottoms and not in the high areas. Thanks Steelheadmike for...
Me and a buddy drew unit 145 as an alternate choice. We have no idea what to expect as this is our first mule deer hunt and first western hunt. Any pointer for a couple of morons from missouri? We had planned on a different area and threw 145 on there for our third choice.
I was planning on using onxmaps. We are planning a backpack hunt so I am in process of purchasing some light weight gear. I work for Bass Pro and we get a pretty generous discount so I am good with buying what is necessary. I am comfortable shooting out to 400 yards as long as wind is...
I really appreciate everyones response I'm looking forward to the idea of being able to get away and not having to answer the work calls 24/7. I'm excited just to get away for a couple of long weekends to scout early in the year. Do most of you stage water during scouting trips that way it is...
