Up for sale is a pair of 34” Kuiu Attacks in black. These pants were worn for one afternoon around town and I decided they were just a little too big so I replaced them with the 32”. Pants are in brand new condition. Looking to get $105 shipped USPS Priority TYD in the lower 48 and I’ll cover...
Thanks Ryan! I was originally going to go with the VG2 as I loved the way yours turned out. However, they didn’t have that inlet/barrel contour in stock and said they could be out for several months as they were moving production in house. Sounds like Manners will (or at least can) inlet...
That was pretty much my plan. Buy a 700 SA and tweak it to make it fit. I had been checking the “Stocks Ready To Ship” page on Manners site pretty much every day but just couldn’t find what I was looking for in the 700 SA inlet. Figured it was time to just order the options I wanted but didn’t...
Thank you both! That’s great to hear. I was a little concerned with the bottom metal fitting too, if I went with the 700 inlet. Nice to know it’ll be an exact fit.
I’m thinking about ordering a Manners EH1 for my Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 6.5 PRC. I know it’s a 700 clone but it also has the side bolt release. Does the Christensen action match up better with one of the other 700 clones, that also has the side bolt release, when I order the inlet? Or...
MTElkChaser that was exactly my concern. Being close to maxed out at the end of the 2 turns. The 20 MOA rail won’t get me any more elevation (per se), just move it closer to the middle of the adjustment range which I’ve read is a better place to be.
The VX6 (and 5) have a pretty short tube in...
I’m picking up a Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 6.5 PRC and am going to top it with a Leupold VX-6HD 3-18x50 with the TMOA reticle. Leupold lists 75 MOA of total elevation but with the 2 turn zero lock turret you only get 30 MOA (15 each turn) once your zero is set. With that being the case...
Up first is a Kuiu Guide Jacket (non DCS) in size XL in Vias. Excellent condition, no rips, tears, or stains. I’m actually not sure if I’ve ever worn this as I replaced it with the DCS version. Canadian sewn with the better than current DWR finish. SOLD
Next up is a brand new, never worn...
Personally, I wouldn't be looking at merino for a mid layer. I love merino as a next to skin base layer, especially on multi-day hunts. But as a mid layer it offers almost no advantage to a good synthetic and falls short in most categories (IMO).
I would echo steelheadmike’s comments to a T. The fit for both the Pro and Talus are nearly identical. In fact, I’d go so far as to say the pants are pretty much the exact same thing with the Talus having the waterproof areas sewn into the butt and lower legs. They both seem to have a tighter...
I read your other post about pants. I’m also from the PNW and was basically looking for the same thing. I bought the Pro’s about a month ago and then saw these so picked them up as well. Both have literally been tried on once and then thrown in the hunting clothes tub. Give me a day or two and...
