Careful what you read and believe. Most things of that nature are written by people who are trying to sell you a product. If you're worried about it, just wash your clothes in detergents that don't contain scents or UV brightener. Many major brands make such detergents. I've washed my hunting...
3400 is plenty for a 3 to 4 day spike. Especially if it has the ability to store dear between the bag and frame. Try it this year, and if you don't like the results, you can upgrade next year.

Don't over think it. Most any modern ammo that shoots well out of your gun will be fine. All of those mentioned above are great bullets.

Buy the bag if you're going to the Crazies for rifle season. It gets nasty in there, sometimes even as early as archery season.

This post will go on forever. People have strong opinions about calibers, and love to share them. You've already been given the best advice you'll get. Take the one you can shoot the best. At the distances you're talking, any of the 4 calibers you've mentioned will be more than enough.

Isn't that what camo is supposed to do...break the human outline? Isn't it supposed to make you blend into your surroundings? If you're having to wear two different patterns to do it, one isn't working.....or maybe neither is....

I've used trail cameras since they actually used a roll of film! Most companies make a good budget model now. I've settled on the Moultrie A 40, or similar model cameras. They can be found on Ebay for $60-$75. There's a trail camera thread under the General Forums on Rokslide where you may find...
Whoa! I can honestly say I've never looked that closely at a pair of boots! If you're happy with the fit, I'd say move on and wear them. Those imperfections shouldn't affect the performance at all.

You're not going to break in rubber boots. Also, you're not going to get a fit with a rubber boot like you do with a lace up leather boot. They're just 2 different types of boots. Anything that can be slipped on without laces isn't going to fit as closely as something that can be laced.
That...
I participated in some while growimg up in the south. Man drives and hunting with dogs. Never really cared for either. They both resulted in more wounded animals than I care to see. Also takes some of the fun out of it. When I'm sitting a stand (back east) or glassing a basin (out west), there's...
Interesting article about MS. However, it doesn't show that MSs rate of infection is any higher than other states based on population, which is what is being implied because of being later to act than others. It may be, but the article doesn't show it. The hospitalization rate is more a function...
I'd look for the Black Ovis merino on Camofire. It comes up for sale every few weeks seems like. Smart wool, Icebreaker, and Minus 33 also make good products if you can find them on sale.

If it helps any, I did the same thing a few years ago....."upgraded" from my switchback xt to the newest flagship bow. I kept my xt as a backup. However, I still shoot the xt more and have killed my last few elk with it. If you still like it, keep it. Spend the money on something else.
PS: the...
I have seen a couple of cases, and heard of several more in MT where a landowner doesn't allow for the retrieval of game. It's a risky proposition shooting an elk or a deer, especially with a bow, near private property.
