Transfered in to ISU fall of '92 after freshman year at a community college. Lived off campus with a guy that was in vet school and fell into what was probably depression. Joined Army National Guard and took a year off for basic and AIT.
Came back full of piss and vinegar, old enough to buy...
I've had 24/7 tinnitus and irreversible nerve damage in ears since I was 18; 29 years of ringing. If I'm wearing clothes I have ear plugs on me.
That said, I have a brake on my 300WM and will never ever shoot it without hearing protection. Ofcourse at the ranges and style of hunting this...
My son went over on Wednesday. He's a freshman too and is living in same dorm complex that I did. Hopefully he doesn't do a fraction of the shit and partying that we did in the mid 90's.
The college years may have something to do with me posting in the "quitting alcohol" thread.
Go Cyclones!
Had a tricky rat in the barn once that didn't want anything to do with peanut butter. Ended up getting him by wiring a strip of raw chicken breast to the trigger of a Victor rat trap.
Then I found out I had more than one when the others ate the dead body leaving only the head and hide. Then the...
I posted a WTS a couple days ago, bumped up with lower price last night and the sumbitch is already 5 pages deep this evening. If I keep bumping every night and lowering price I might end up paying someone to take it.
Btw, can't recall selling anything on here before and haven't listed...
Better lower price while bumping as to not annoy some folks. How about $140 shipped?
Selling because I'm not going to spend the time to learn to shoot it.

Boil then simmer until tender, cool, slice into 1/4" cross-sections, add to sweet pickling brine with lots of sliced white onions, let sit in fridge for 4 days, enjoy!
Can anyone recommend an accurate bathroom scale that wont break the bank? Have a mechanical Sunbeam that I step onto the same everytime and the sumbitch seems to be all over the place.
For instance, first thing this morning it said 222, got back on after drinking 32oz water and it said 227...
The Peak Refuel was absolutely amazing on my first backpack hunt, I'd never tried it before that. I made some for my daughter and I about 6 months later at home and discovered it was less than stellar.
Chris
BTW, thanks for the honest review. So many other guys will bitch about a less than stellar experience yet refuse to divulge company names, which IMO is a disservice to the rest of us who could avoid a similar experience.
Chris
Sounds like Lee is lacking gunsmithing expertise like chambering/barrel fitting skills. Like OBD said, there are a lot of "cranks" out there. Any competent smith should be able to deliver a properly throated rifle that will feed and function no matter if it's a Tikka, Howa, Sako, Rem, etc.
I...
