    puffy jackets

The First Lite Chamberlin is a really, really warm coat. I have the Uncompahgre as well but it is no where as warm as the Chamberlin.

    WTB Wool pants

I have some Columbia Gallatin wool pants in a 34 waist. They have not been hemmed and have never been worn in the field. Brown camo in color. I can get some pics up when I get home in a couple days.

    Suppressor for Bolt Gun?

Apparently the Stingerworx website is down right now but a little bird told me it should be back up soon. Interpret that as you will but might be a red flag. I've handled them and they look like a quality product and I hope they continue to manufacture them.

    Suppressor for Bolt Gun?

I have a Silencerco Hybrid but if I had to do it over again I would go with a Thunder Beast Ultra 7. Singerworx Hunter is another option. They are crazy light and relatively cheap at about $600.

    Gear essentials for a newbie

Netherman made a great post and I highly agree about the trekking poles. They will save your life when packing out heavy. I use mine all the time while hunting but I find them indispensable when coming downhill. I use an old set of Lekis but there are a ton of lightweight options out there.

Salomon Quest 4 D GTX for Elk?

Great boots. They leak after a couple seasons but are my go to for early season. They do well enough for me in steep country.

    WTS GrizzlyStik Package

I have 15 GizzlyStiks for sale. These are 28.5 inches in length and are the Momentum 240 shafts. 650 grain total weight. Brass inserts were hot-glued in. Included are five 200 g Masai broadheads. Three are what I would call “practice” heads and the other two are good to go. Nine 200 g field...

Help me decide on Bora 80,osprey,ute

I have a Bora 80 it has been a great pack. Very comfortable and durable. I think it is the ideal size for a week of backpacking. I looked at the 95 too but felt that it was just more than I needed. If you can find one for $100, I’d jump on it.

    Archery Case for Airline

Another vote for SKB. Their ATA approved cases also come with a $1500 content coverage warranty if damaged by an airline. That warranty isn’t super helpful if it gets damaged on the way to a hunt/shoot but the cases are burly and the bow is very secure inside. They don’t hold small diameter...

    WTB Kifaru 12 Man Tipi

Looking for a 12 man Kifaru tipi. Hopefully one with a liner as well. If you have one you are looking to part with, I’m definitely in the market.

    8 man tipi question

I used a Kifaru 8 man tipi last year and we had a decent size stove in it along with cots. Everything fit fine but it was a little tight for two guys and our mountain of gear. We did have some issues with condensation on the walls despite having a full liner. It all worked out and was a super...

Backpackers Pantry or Good to Go

You ever tried MaryJanes Farm foods? Essentially the super fancy version of Mountain House. Organic and all that. It tastes great but they are fairly proud of it.

    Waterproof Duffel

I second the Ortlieb due to the shoulder straps. We also use NRS duffles for rafting and they are bombproof.
