Kuiu Ultra Merino 120 LT Series

I ordered the 120 crew yesterday in L and XL. I have a 5K race on the 24th I want to try it out on. Wasn't sure about sizing, so I will take the one that doesn't fit back to KUIU when I travel there in a month.

    When do you trim?

After you resize your brass and when its needed. Seems like for me it about every 3-4 firing.

XOP, Novix, and Lone Wolf Treestands

To answer a couple questions. This set up will be for public land hunting where I would want to set it up and take it down each hunt. I am in Northwest Missouri. We do have some straight trees but most are not. In the past I used a climber but was limited to hunt certain trees. My thought...

XOP, Novix, and Lone Wolf Treestands

I started hunting deer when I was 11 years old with a bow. I was not successful for many years because I was all on my own. My dad didn't hunt. In high school I ramped up my archery hunting and took it to a new level in college. I then fell in love with waterfowl hunting and haven't really...

    Rail for Tikka?

Skip the rail and rings and go with the Hawkins Hybrids. They are awesome rings. Myself, my brother and a few buddies have all used them with zero issues.

What packs are all you gram weenies using?

SG 5900. Loved my Kifaru Pack but I was sable to shave 2 lbs. switching to SG. This doesn't mean Kifaru isn't good because I loved my Reckoning.

    Which 300 with a suppresser?

In my opinion there are two I would be looking at. The Manners EH1-TK on the XLR Element 3.0/4.0. Both stocks are build correct and can have or do have adjustments to get you exactly where you need it. Both are pricy, but really good. I currently have the EH1 on a tikka I had build and like it.

    Which 300 with a suppresser?

Do you still have the factory Tikka stock on the rifle. Tikkas are known to have a very low comb. The first thing I would do is try and build up the height on the stock. If that doesnt work a new stock may be on order.
