I just did the front of this Lil' Grizzly longbow with a flat black. Held a couple of weeds on top and sprayed over them w a light tan.
I prefer bow socks now on my Bear TD. It cuts the glare and breaks up the outline, plus bunches up a bit at the string grooves quieting the string.

Shot this Buck yesterday afternoon at 8 yds thru both lungs. He ran out of gas trying to keep up with the rest of the herd around 150 yds later. Died in sight.
