    I love their gaiters. Been using them since they came out. Don't have experience with pac boots though. They fit over my Crispi Briskals just fine though.

    12x14 to a 14x15 is kind of the range you are in. Any cylinder style stove would heat those tents up nice.

    Look for a used wall tent on Facebook marketplace or craigslist. It'll be the best decision you've ever made for truck camping.

    You'll be fine. I think you are setting yourself up for success with staying relatively close to the truck. Remember this is fun and you want to do this. I take sleeping pills when I'm backpacking, but everybody is different.

    Yeah. Had a week long trip with buddies the following week. I drove into town the next day and got a new rest installed. Did a little bit of tuning and I was good to go. Could have been a lot worse and lot more money.
