Looking to sell my non magnetic marsupial harness, ranger green size small. I also have a large range finder pouch also in ranger green. I bought these in june. I prefer the agc harness because i can fit a lot in it. There is a small spot of pine sap on the harness. The rf pouch is like new...
From my experience at distance with good “chest binos” you can only get a general idea of soze. And maybe soo some of the longer tines. But your not going to see that 3x3 is actually a 3x4. If your trying to make a rag horn legal you probably need a spotter or a seperate pair of 15-18x binos but...
I went this route and bought a Cheap spotter 5 years ago. In my opinion its a huge wast of your time and money decent binos out perform a cheap spotter pretty easily. Mine got left behind a lot and when it did come woth me id always be dissapointed in it.
I never got to compare side by sode and only have one hunt with the kowa but i think the kowa has better color and brightness and clarity at high magnification.
I was in the same boat and switched to a kowa 774. I like it more. Im still considering bumping to the kowa 884 though but i was pleased woth the 774’s performance
The mule deer was at around 1000ish each photo not sure on zoom. The whitetails and moose were 600-800 for some reference
Id guess that outfitter just had bad experience with new people that got into hunting recently from you tube that have little practice or experience but heard the 6.5 was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Also probably the same people who have all the best gear but dont put time into...
Heres my one experience woth a 6.5 on elk. I shot a small bull laying down at 290. I hit behind the shoulder like an archery shot, i watched him slumped over in his bed for 10 minites and he never moved. I gathered my stuff and walked over there. I got to where he was about 40 minutes later...
I was more worried about the antelope blowing up lol but yeah generally im a believer in not messing woth stuff that works but i havent shot an antelope so im not sure how much damage it could cause
Bringing this thread back to life. I have a hells canyon 300 wsm topped woth a maven rs1, that shoots 200gr terminal ascents well. I also have a savage axos scope combo in a 6.5 man bun. Obviously the 300 is over kill but would you think as long as i aim Further back from the shoulder i wont...
Not me but this year on a stalk my buddy’s reliable release of 10+ years locked tight on him on the stalk. So i got to sneak up and shoot it instead. He later fixed it. We chalked it up to the dust since were easterners. It was just a little buck but he got to shoot a white tail two days later.
My dad has a euro mount business. Theres no tips unless its a $88 bill and they pay $90 and say keep the change but outside that theres no tips expected. Like said above they set the price for the service thats what they should get

Mine cracked due to not driving a lot or taking care of anything and my trucks parked in the sun all day. I have 46k on them. I called about the weather cracking, they dont warranty that but tread is warrantied to 50k. Id guess they have another 15-20k in them. But the cracks between tread worry...
Curious if any of you samrter truck guys can answer this for me. I currently have the bfg ko2 tires on my 2017 tacoma. People are telling me thats way to heavy duty of a tire for this truck. But ive liked them a lot. About to get new tires, any reason you would change? I live in wi so i dont see...
I had a light weight 2 person fly creek tent that packed well strapped to the side and in that sode pocket of my exo. But that was in open country where i wasnt worried about poking holes in it. That was everything in the factory bag strapped to the side
