Been doing the following routine for the last couple years and real happy with my results. At 48 in the best shape of my life.
Day 1: Upper body recently switched from high reps to heavier lifting, lots of shoulder and back work followed by 4 mile run
Day 2: Lower body squats, deadlift and...
Just finished a boot camp at lunch where I took Enduro about 20 minutes before I started. Don't feel near the rush with the Enduro that I get with the Yeti. Will need to experiment more but will be ordering more Yeti in the near future.
Have not used pre-workouts in the past but picked up some MTN OPS at the show last weekend. I decided to go with the Enduro as caffeine can tend to jack my heart rate especially when doing cardio. They did let me have a couple samples of Yeti to try. All I can say is they Yeti appears to be...
I like the interval program on the one at our gym. 2 minutes on and 2 minutes off. Right now running at level 15 on and level 10 off for 30 minutes. Typically 2 days a week after my leg workout. Definitely an a** kicker!
That's my concern. His definition of weird/awkward may be a bit different than mine! I would like to see a picture of the 22 Mag on a 26" before I drop the $
Actually like the 22" tried it out at the store a couple weeks ago. I'm planning an AK moose hunt next fall and think the 26" will be a better option. Probably just go with the rambler instead
I like the looks of the 22 mag but really want the 26" frame for heavier loads. I believe the video said they wouldn't work well together? What are possible issues with that combination?
I had labrum surgery a year ago November. At 46 they didn't re-attach mine but did a bicep tendenosis (Cut bicep major tendon and anchored it to my arm with a titanium screw) Was back in action by spring but with pain. Really only started feeling 100% in the last few months. Definately glad I...
Headed down to REI to check things out. Really like to sound of the Kuhl Destroyr (REI exclusive) but think they are sold out. Also considering the Kuhl Renegades. I'll also check out the REI brands. Too many D*mn choices!
Looking for solid color pants similar to the Kuiu Attack for snowshoeing and winter hiking. Kuiu is sold out and I don't want to wait.
Any suggestions?
Don't be afraid to walk a bit. Until your body is ready for it a run/walk program is okay. Running is kind of humbling as you won't be the best out there no matter how hard you try. Put your ego away and just do it. Once you get to were you can consitently run a few miles sign up for a road...
I've had a garmin 305 for years and has never let me down. Personally a lot of value in the heart rate monitor. For instance finding out how Copenhagen effected my heart rate finally got me to quit after 23 years.
