I ended up buying one of the MT mags, but it did not feed reliably. When the gen2 came out they replaced my mag with the one with the red follower. It has worked flawlessly for me. I do admit though, I haven't shot with it a ton. I am now out of the 300 WSM game so this magazine just sits on my...
I think the Genesis may be too much of a good thing. These kids get 1 hour total to shoot these. that includes 5-10 minutes of instruction. This session is just an introduction to the sport. Were currently using fiberglass long bows.
I volunteer at our schools 6th grade camp. The school received a grant for some new equipment, and they would like to buy several sets of bows and arrows. 99% of these kids have never picked up a bow in their life. Looking for some recommendations on what to get.
Thanks, Matt
I understand putting the nalgene holder on the opposite side of the rifle holder, but I usually carry two sometime three nalgenes. So I wonder how the carrier works when the pack isn't "nicely" shaped. For reference, my pack is ready to go for a three day bear hunt this weekend.
Looking forward to the reviews. I don't care for the idea of taking my pack off to remount the rifle. Also wondering how it works if you have a Nalgene in that pocket as well.
This what I ordered. The Chacos are more for everyday/camping shoe. I'll reserve the Crocks backpacking shoe. Although I've yet to bring any camp shoe on true backpacking trips.
I do like my Crocs, but not what I'm looking for, they make my feet hot and sweaty. I'm talking about something you use out in the yard, walking the dog, to a bbq, ect.
What do you guys like for summer use? I don't care for flip flops, but I'd like to wear something that lets my feet breath. It would be nice if they could also double as a camp shoe.
I don't have a '06 anymore, but I've been witnessed 13 bears being shot. I'm of the belief that a quickly expanding bullet is best for bears. ELD, Ballistic tip, and Bergers. They drop bears right there. '06s are not barrel burners, so I'd choose 165-178s if it was me.
