I have used my sig now in a pretty significant rain storm and had no issues out to 1000 yards didn’t try anything further because I wasn’t shooting anything further than that. And no, I haven’t used any of the map features just because I don’t have or use base maps
I have a 24” proof sendero with a defiance action and a McMillan as well. I am shooting lapua and fed 215s as well. I chose the 1-9 twist though. I’d recommend putting that fast twist to use and shooting a bullet on the heavy end of the scale. For some reason some guys are against match bullets...
I personally love my silex just due to the room it gives. I struggled with setup the first few times but has gotten a lot easier now. As for the sagging I was in some bad storms with very little issues. I also loved the option for a stove jack. I’ve used it solo late with the stove and it’s been...
Yeah I used a friends for two days at the shooting range and preferred the sig at the end of the day. I feel that it was superior everywhere besides the glass quality the Leica was forsure better.
I recently was deciding between these two as well, I ended up going with the Sig, one of the main fallbacks on my previous rangefinder was the illumination being impossible to see I’m the snow on a sunny day or mid day on warmer days. Sig had a better illumination to me and a few more bells and...
For me personally, and this may not be the answer you’re looking for, but it ultimately lends itself to what experience I’m looking for. I find that my route for picking the unit depends vastly on terrain just because I know that will affect my hunting style, and to be honest, I think we all...
I am 6’2 I don’t know my torso length though. I got the 26.5 for my preference and it feels incredible thus far. I believe on their most recent podcast episode they posted a link to a sizing matrix. Edit, they’ve posted the chart now I believe. ⬇️
I really think you would be extremely happy with the argali absoroka. I was beyond impressed with mine. Lots of versatility as well! Sounds like it’d fit the bill!
I’m the same height and a knuckle dragger with long arms as well. I wear the large tall just so the sleeve length works good for me. Regular was just too short. And per your post yes it’s a must have for me. It was my favorite piece of new gear I picked up last season.
For anybody who’s ran N560 what was your experience with temperature sensitivity? Currently in the process of compiling components and got some N560. I was curious anyone’s experience I know it is not listed as one of their temperature “insensitive” powders, but have read mixed things on its...
For all you fellas using N560, I seem to find only mixed things on temp stability with it. For those of you who have used it what did you find in terms of temp stability? Any input is greatly appreciated thanks guys!
I have a good buddy shooting that exact bullet and a tikka as well. He’s had great luck with the good ol imr 7828ssc and it’s usually significantly easier to find.
