I'll second this in regards to the go pro. I have a Go pro 3 and very rarely use it, for video, audio is poor due to the case, the wide angle of it is ok in some instances but not great as a general camera. Plus in 90% of the time I would have my phone out to control it. All that being said...
I was looking for a quality cooler recently and wasn't going to pay the premium yeti charges. I found a few reviews on Vibe (the kayak maker) that were good, their 75 goes for $200, I used a 20% off coupon ebay had and got it for 160 a few weeks back. Its been sitting on my deck with beer and...
Thanks guys (or Gals), ordered a bunch of stuff and the pack even though I didn't get the discount on the pack. Appreciate everyone that posts these codes.
I talked to an CS agent awhile back and she said you had to have been signed up back in 2015 if I remember to get these codes. I think my...
If its the firstlite pattern they are working through them. I ordered the morning of that monday they were available (I guess the sale started sometime sunday). Mine is suppose to come tomorrow.
I was in the same boat, what kept me from the a7iii was my budget. for $1200 I was able to get a camera, 2 lenses, and some cheap accessories in a bundle. If I went with the a7iii your figure you are 2k in with just the camera body. My recommendation, if you are just starting out don't bother...
Go small, I was in the same boat probably a little towards the larger size and the pack wouldn't fit me right and killed me when I had any load on it. Ended up bailing on it and just bought an exo which is on its way.
Gotcha makes sense then. As far as lenses if it were me I'd do the camera with the two lenses. If you use it for everything you mentioned you have a pretty good variety of uses. With the short lens you will be limited for wildlife (really with the 200mm as well but mirrorless doesn't have a ton...
Curious...Why is the flip around screen an deal breaker? Based on your typical pictures this would be used very little. I went through this decision about a month ago and got the a6300. I made the decision I wasn't going to stay with a DSLR because the tech is going away from that direction...
I have a lowepro slingshot 200 that would be big for you but probably one of their smaller slingshots would work. I bought it when I still had a DSLR, I have an a6300 now and I can fit all my camera stuff plus much more in it. A6300 w/ lens, 200m lens, another short lens, cleaning stuff, lens...
Thanks, there is one at the end of the modules of ELK101 but I don't have access any longer. A friend who still has the subscription confirmed is still there.
I have a cheap amazon featherlite 0 degree bag that I get cold in if it drops below 30. I'm thinking I wan't to switch to something that is a little better quality, down, and probably 0 degree. I have an opportunity to get a decent deal on some Big Agnes bags and a North Face but have never...
What a joke, I clicked the link the instant it showed up on my phone literally within a second and it was $25 off when you spend $250. I'm jealous of those of you who didn't waste their time or attention.
