    Thank you for all the suggestions. We are looking at leaving Whittier going on on a big boat. Hoping to get away from most people but not sure how hard that would be? As far as equipment for this type of hunt would you recommend waders/wading pants or just muck style boots?

    I have a Lane Scorpion 556 on my Tikka T3 in .22-250. It is my main coyote gun. Chose the 556 model to make it smaller and more lightweight. Contemplating on getting a 30cal for my other rifles larger than .224. Been happy with the Lane.
