Marc, I still want to look at your pack. I ordered one now so I would have it in August. I didn't want to risk not having a good pack for my hunt. This will also give me time to see if I like it and if not I can send it back. Like I said, thinking of ordering a kifaru after I look at yours...
Here is a little info on them. I buy bare shafts, spine test them and fletch with cock vane down the spine using 1 jig. Unbelievable arrow.
The name says it all, this incredibly light and strong micro-diameter shaft was developed using cutting-edge carbon manufacturing techniques. This...
I ordered a EXO 3500 so I can get one to try/have in time for my hunt. I like the 30 return policy that they have. Thinking of ordering a Kifaru DT2 Bikini to compare side by side. Another decision to make.
Liosis, take a good look at the small diameter shaft arrows like the Black Eagle Deep Impact or the Bloodsport Ones. The small diameter shafts actually weigh more than the standard shaft so you don't have to add a extra insert weight. They actually perform better long range and pack one heck...
Ryan, theres no way I can try any of them except the Eberlestock and Tenzing. Marc is bringing his EXO and his Kifaru for me to try. My Eberlestock and Tenzing I sell won't be going on my hunting trip this fall!!
The Kifaru DT2 $670ish with Bikini frame: , EXO 5500 with frame: $500ish, Kuiu Icon Pro 5200: $425ish. Those are some rough pricing without adding anything. Eberlestock Just One a lot cheaper, but not in the same caliber of these. This is going to be tougher than I originally thought.
Looks like I'm leaning away from Eberlestock and Tenzing and putting EXO, Kifaru, and Kuiu at the top on my list. I need to keep reading. Thanks again for the input!!
What are the thoughts on the kifaru Nomad? I'll have a base camp and be spiking in for about 3-4 days at a time so don't need anything that would be for long extended stays.
Sorry, but I haven't heard of EXO before tonight. Went and started looking into them and they appear to be a very nice pack and at a good price. Marc is going to be in Green Bay next week with his EXO so I will be able to get the feel of it. I was dead set at getting a Eberlestock or Tenzing...
I know this has been beaten to death and I could probably read for day on the topic. I am looking for a new pack. I am dealer for Eberlestock and Tenzing. Looking at the Just One from Eberlestock or the Tenzing TZ6000. I am looking at pack that I can use as a day pack but can also use to...
If you're going to be using the spotter a lot then definitely go with the HD. If its just used on occasion then go with the Diamondback. If you decide to go the HD route I could get you a new one at a great price.
