With my PH2 when it had a 26" barrel, I was getting 2975 FPS with the federal 175s at 5500 elevation at ~40 degrees.
My 22" barrel is fresh and around 2890-2900.

Not following the brand logic... going from Hornady to Winchester is just supporting a different brand no?
I mean shoot what ya want and what makes you happy - full support from me there! 6.8 western is a cool cartridge!
Like it or not, big red has done a lot for the shooting community the...
Future support? Curious your thoughts on this as it's a well established, military funded company with US made pistols? The 509/10 lines are pretty well established at this point. Price point, yeah, tactical is more, but you get much more and have your $$ staying here. The MRD is a couple...
Most P320 issues are overblown and are from poor holsters, booger hooks in wrong places etc. There was some sporadic early cases, but nothing that I have ever heard with the x-ten and I have been following close. I get the concern, but glocks have had plenty of NDs over the years and early on...
Do some reading on pistol defense articles… something like 97% success rate across all calibers. All handguns are a compromise for a big bear - but, it does seem like putting up a fight with well placed, hard cast shots, from most calibers discourages them enough to survive.
Penetration wise...
For small hands, the Sig X-ten will be your best 10mm option. The comp version is pretty sweet. It should handle 200 hard cast, but mags bind on 220s in my experience because they are so compact.
I have small hands too - my primary 10mm is the FN 510 with the small back strap followed by a gen...
This is my thought as well - I had a C2 that I ultimately sold and now I have a P. Have fondled the CS and it's really nice, but I am waiting for the C in 4".
The CS doesn't conceal quite as well as other offerings and I like a 4" barrel.
Just my thoughts.
The P is an absolutely fantastic...
They are different powders. Check the vid a few post up... Like 3-4 different powders from Hornady in their ammo. Supposedly they are not shoes to get the powder they want.

I am the guy that had the PH2 cut debacle - happy to answer any questions you may have (still have the barrel)
You would get 9/16 x24 out of it more then likely (what we had) and run a 9/16 to 5/8 - I actually liked this as it gave a good shoulder (Hyperion K doesn’t have enough shoulder to run...
Recoil, capacity, accuracy, size. Most handgun rounds perform similar enough anymore that caliber is no longer the determining factor for me. Some penetrate a hair more, expand a hair more etc. but shot placement and bullet selection trumps all.
I lied - it's $6.32

Do not believe they are tapered.

So, without trashing anyone, the can was crooked. Caught it prior to shooting fortunately.
He re-cut and it was the same situation. He chatted with Seekins and we opted to send in for a rebarrel. Not sure if it's true across the board, but his lathe wasn't able to handle the super deep flutes...
