While it's fresh in my mind, I just got a smaller Yukon moose up here in Alaska on the 25th, maybe a 2 yr old bull. (Comparable in size to the other sub species of moose). I used the "alaska game bags" and had 4 of the 60" bags for the quarters and then 2 of the 48" ones for the straps, loins...

what about those metal d loops? I was using my uncles hoyt charger these last few weeks and he has one of those metal d loops on there. It seemed that my string was always getting twisted though.. don't know if that was the loop or the string was twisted.
good story and I bettcha that you had a good time out there! try shooting from an elevated platform. or your roof. something to get you up higher then the target. being up above your target changes the point of impact. same with being lower. keep at it man, you'll get yours
