The non threaded you should be able to tap in with a rubber mallet or the plastic handle of a screw driver.
The threaded ones will fit. I read some people used a tap but I cleaned with acetone and was able to get it started manually. If yours has heavy cerakote just chase the threads with a tap.
Just curious for this crews take on this but one thing that really has made me avoid splurging on a suppressor (aside from the other hurdles) is the idea I have to explicitly tell the ATF I’m buying this item and then I have to worry that in the future they don’t just decide I can no longer have...
Do you think I’d be better off getting a different head? This is primarily for glassing but I’d like the option to be able to shoot As well.
The whole world of all this tripod stuff is confusing.
I see the Siri VA-5 head has good reviews. I’m just not sure if that fixed my problem. Should buy a better head? I can level this one with the leg lengths but it’s not ideal for shooting.
Ok, I can’t find the answer to my question. I have a pretty basic black Ovis alpine carbon tripod. It’s light and works fine as far as I can tell.
What I can’t figure out is this: the head isn’t really level so it makes it goofy to shoot off of because it’s just not level. I can’t see any way...
KRG Bravo, T3x short action, Sako Green. Includes all the LOP spacers, both KRG action screws. There’s a factory flush cup on the butt side of the stock. The only thing included from KRG that I no longer have is the polymer pic rail section. Also, does NOT include any magazines but takes AICS...
I shot a doe during our late doe season, 147 ELDM at about 80 yards. Performance was good. Rear lung damage and some liver just pulverized. Got an exit, although I don’t think it was all the bullet just pieces of the jacket maybe. Impact velocity according to Hornady app should have been ~2700...
Mine has shot both the 147 ELDM and Sierra 140 TGK very well. Not as good of results with Barnes 120 TTSX for whatever that’s worth (nothing really every barrel is different).
