As a user and killer of many whitetails, muleys, and elk; I'm going to need pics on the accubond not working correctly.
At 60 yards, i put one in the chest of a bull. Dead on impact. Part of the bullet was found at the rear of his ham with the rest doing exactly what is was designed to do in...
Mule deer - must be lucky, never had a bad one.
Elk - only bulls, need to try a cow
Whitetail - have been eating for 39 years.
Rabbit
Canvasbacks ducks
Wild turkey
Mallards/gadwalls
Can't believe no one has rabbit in the list. Also, I had some farm raised red stag once and that was probably...
I doubt there are any honey holes for that unit because it takes time to draw.
There are some nice canyons in there. The ability to take same long distance shots would be recommended.
Get there at least 2 days prior to glass different dark timber strips. Glass, glass, glass.
Find the does.
I'm 39. I had 2 businesses in 2 different stays until 37. I sold one and got out of the other to start a new career last year to make Colorado my permanent home.
I've taken family vacations, coach my kids, and hunt when I want. I have done this since I was 27.
No regrets here. Always set...
Interesting with what they did with 2nd and 3rd rifle. I wonder why they did that. The taking of 2 days for each season may help the deer more than the elk. Most people don't have it in them to hunt the full 9 days.
The starting in the middle of the week ought to make some NRs mad.
I bet there are no changes. Hunters can ways get away from people. I like to bow hunt too, but archers need to stop griping. I hunt in a heavily hunted unit and I don't see anyone while hunting. I see them on the way in and on the way out. 4/5 years I've killed a bull with 2 of those being...
I've killed one bull that chest was facing me. 142 gr ABLR. 60 yards. Bullet entered the chest and found the rest at very end of hind quarter.
He flopped in the scope, dead before he hit the ground.
I've also killed one with the 6.5CM. 170 yards. 303" bull.
The 26Nosler will kill...
My muley this year was packed out in one load. I didn't want to make 2 trips and made myself do it. Counting the meat and all my equipment, the load was 120 pounds.
I have used kuiu packs for loads and packing in, etc for 7 years. Not one failure from 4 bulls and 7 muleys.
I owned a 26 nosler Ridgeline. Didn't like it. I thought the action was sloppy and it was hell to load for.
My dad has a 28 nosler in the Ridgeline and it is a sub-moa gun.
However, my fierce 26 nosler is unbelievable to load for and shoot. It shoots the factory 140 grain accubonds at .4...
