    Scope for stock Tikka

Well, I got my Tikka T3 lite stainless 7MM Rem Mag and it needs a scope, I want to stay under $300 and with the stock 1" rings. I don't think I'll be shooting game past 300yrds and mostly just rifle season cow/doe freezer tags. Also what reticle would should I go with? Thanks! Tom

Toe box/foot swelling room? How much?

It's best to try on boots at the end of the day when your feet are at their biggest (swelling). If your boots don't "feel right" they probably don't fit, the boot should feel like a big hand holding your foot. As long as the toes aren't rubbing or banging in the toe box they should be okay. What...

    Chapter 3 Sabotless Shooting

Thanks sabotloader, where do you get the shot cups? I got a sizing pack of Thors and the .500 dia. fits my cva like the t/c maxi hunters not too tight and leaves light scratches on the Thor. My thoughts on the shot cup is if I need to make a follow up shot that it would be one more thing to...

    Chapter 3 Sabotless Shooting

I'm new to muzzle loading, why do you use a shot card/lubed wad with the bullet? I was thinking of using the Thor bullets this year but after seeing the price thought of taking a .50 cal sabot and cutting off the top and gluing the cup to the base of the Barnes 325gr. like a power belt...

I use the gallon size freezer bags and rehydrate the meal then place the bag into the cup I boil water in, blouse the top over the cup and eat that way I don't have to wash the cup and just lick the spoon clean.
